Legal / Disclosures / Non-Custodial Routing
Disclosures for how ParlayMarket software tools support ticket creation, simulation, and routing to third-party venues.
1) What ParlayMarket is
ParlayMarket provides software tools that help users create, simulate, and route multi-leg order instructions ("tickets") to third-party prediction market venues and related service providers.
ParlayMarket is not a prediction market, exchange, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, investment adviser, gambling operator, or custodian. ParlayMarket does not operate a market or take the other side of user trades. Orders and positions exist at the third-party venue(s) selected by the user.
2) Third-party venues and "trader of record"
When execution is enabled, ParlayMarket routes user-authorized orders to a third-party venue. The third-party venue is responsible for:
- order acceptance and rejection,
- trade execution,
- pricing and market data at the venue,
- custody of any assets held at the venue,
- user account status, eligibility, identity verification (KYC), and restrictions,
- settlement, clearing, and any disputes.
Users are the trader of record at the venue. ParlayMarket routes orders using user-authorized credentials/session grants associated with the user's venue account, consistent with the venue's API and authentication model.
3) Non-custodial design
ParlayMarket is designed to be non-custodial:
- ParlayMarket does not hold or control user funds.
- ParlayMarket does not hold user private keys for blockchain wallets.
- If ParlayMarket supports storing venue credentials, it stores only encrypted data and is designed so that decrypted credentials are not persistently stored by ParlayMarket and are only usable with user authorization.
Users remain responsible for securing their wallet(s), device(s), and any venue accounts used to trade.
4) No investment advice; educational and tooling purpose
ParlayMarket provides tooling, simulations, and execution routing. Nothing on this website constitutes investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset or position. Users are solely responsible for their trading decisions.
5) Execution, atomicity, and multi-leg risk
Multi-leg strategies are complex. ParlayMarket may attempt to route legs sequentially and may include optional retry, cancellation, or best-effort logic. ParlayMarket does not guarantee atomic execution (all legs filled exactly as intended) unless a third-party venue explicitly supports an atomic multi-leg order type and confirms it at execution time.
Users acknowledge and accept risks including, without limitation:
- partial fills,
- legs failing while others succeed,
- market movement or slippage between legs,
- venue downtime or API errors,
- rejected orders,
- liquidation or settlement rules of the venue.
6) Availability, third-party dependency, and limitations
ParlayMarket depends on third-party services (venues, APIs, RPC providers, hosting, wallets). Service interruptions, changes to third-party APIs, or third-party enforcement actions may affect functionality, including execution and account access.
ParlayMarket may disable execution, modify features, or restrict access at any time to protect users, maintain stability, or comply with third-party requirements.
7) Eligibility and jurisdiction
Users are responsible for ensuring they are eligible to use the venue(s) and ParlayMarket services, including any jurisdictional restrictions, age restrictions, identity verification requirements, and venue terms.
ParlayMarket may restrict access by geography or other criteria at its discretion.
8) Fees
ParlayMarket may charge fees for software access and/or routing services, which will be disclosed at the time they apply. Venue fees, spreads, and other costs are separate and are determined by the third-party venue.
9) No warranties; limitation of liability
ParlayMarket is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParlayMarket disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for any losses arising from use of the software, venue execution, market behavior, or third-party services.
10) Terms and privacy
Use of ParlayMarket is subject to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy posted on this website. In the event of conflict, those documents control.
